Robert Berning Productions, Inc. Recognized Internationally for Outstanding Film and Video Projects in 2007.

New Orleans, LA - Robert Berning Productions, Inc., the leading commercial film and video production company in the Gulf South, received numerous awards for outstanding production in both film and video categories by two international organizations—The Davey Awards & The Accolade Competition.

Berning was honored by The Davey Awards, an international competition that recognizes small firms for their creative ideas—as David defeated Goliath with a big idea and a little rock:

About the projects:
American Heart Association charged Berning with the challenge to produce a video that would be the feature of their annual “Go Red for Women” fundraiser and awareness event. The event had a fundraising increase of 80% over the previous year due largely to the impact of the video.

Northrop Grumman Ship Systems works with Berning on a continual basis to document vessels and the history related to them via long format videos. “Truxtun: First to Fight” tells the story of the USS Truxtun (DDG 103) which is part of the Arleigh Burke class of guided missile destroyers. The Arleigh Burke class ships are the U.S. Navy's only active destroyers and are among the largest and most powerful destroyers ever built.

Cardiovascular Institute of the South requested that Berning create a compelling commercial campaign to help brand their group of heart and vascular medicine specialists. The campaign focused on a futuristic creative to help portray the image that CIS is a forward-thinking group and using the newest technology in healthcare for their patients.

Metro Disposal Services, Inc., a waste management company, approved development and launch of the “Cleaner” campaign which focused on how the company is committed to a cleaner, safer environment for their shared community.

East Jefferson General Hospital had Berning produce the “Perfecting the Art of Surgery” campaign to focus on the minimally invasive surgery options available to the community. Production techniques included the use of animation to portray the connection between art and the human body.
