Robert Berning Productions, Inc. Receives Director of the Year and Gold Award at Addy's

New Orleans, LA, April 10th, 2008 -
Robert Berning Productions, Inc., a leading commercial film and video production company in the Gulf South, was recognized at the 2008 Ad Club of New Orleans Addy Awards gala on March 28, 2008 at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art.

Trey Berning received the Director of the Year Award for his film and commercial work over the past year including projects for Cardiovascular Institute of the South, Jefferson Economic Development Commission, East Jefferson General Hospital and New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Company.

“I’m very proud of him and what he brings to our company and our clients. Trey is a very creative and talented young man with a bright future ahead of him,” stated Robert Berning, President of Robert Berning Productions, Inc.

The company also received a Gold Addy Award in the “Audio/Visual Sales Presentation” category for Northrop Grumman Ship Systems’ “Truxtun: First to Fight” film.

The project was filmed and directed by Ed Metz, produced by Alexis Vicknair and edited by Mark Glaviano. Northrop Grumman Ship Systems works with Berning on a continual basis to document vessels and the history related to them via long format videos. “Truxtun: First to Fight” tells the story of the USS Truxtun (DDG 103) which is part of the Arleigh Burke class of guided missile destroyers. The Arleigh Burke class ships are the U.S. Navy's only active destroyers and are among the largest and most powerful destroyers ever built.
