Berning Productions and Marketing Donates Go Red Video to American Heart Association
New Orleans, LA - March 13, 2007
Berning Productions and Marketing was a proud participant in the New Orleans Chapter of the American Heart Association Go Red Luncheon. The 2007 luncheon was held on February 28th at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel.
The purpose of the Go Red Luncheon is to help raise women’s awareness that heart disease is their number one cause of death. Women who understand their risks and know the steps to prevent heart disease are better equipped to handle this threat to their health. As a partner with the American Heart Association, Robert Berning Productions, Inc. and Berning Marketing created and donated a 5 minute video appropriately named Go Red that was shown at the luncheon. The touching video illustrated important facts about heart health and featured testimonials from women who have survived heart disease.
“We donated the Go Red video to the American Heart Association to show our support of the cause and help them raise awareness and educate the community on heart disease,” said Erin Berning, Executive Director of Berning Marketing.
In the days following the luncheon, the American Heart Association announced that donations from the luncheon rose 80% compared with 2006. Credit was given to the efforts of the sponsors and all luncheon participants. The increase in donations is proof that this year’s Go Red luncheon was a successful event.
